There are different ways that opponents can score points, you can score them by take downs, reversals, and exposures. Take downs are when someone puts their opponent on the mat in a position where they can get pinned. Reversals are if someone is in that position and they reverse it on their opponent, and finally a
exposure is when a person puts his opponent on the ground with his back on the mat. They are calculated on how someone takes down their opponent, the points are calculated as follows.
-
A wrestler is given 5 points if they take down their opponent and his feet go over his head.

You receive 3 points when you take down your opponent and his feet do not go over his head.

You can receive 1 point when you do a reversal on someone. That is when you are either on the ground, or you are in a defensive posture and you maneuver yourself to get your opponent into the defensive spot.
-
Exposure is a manuver that awards you either 2 or 3 points. An exposure is when any part of your opponents shoulders, elbows, or back are exposed to the mat for any period of time.
This exposure is worth 2 points, but if you hold you opponent there for five seconds you are awarded an additional point.

You can receive either 1 or 2 points for penalties, these are when there is a stoppage in wrestling because of an injury. The opponent of the person that is injured receives a point unless the injured person is bleeding. Other penalty points are awarded for illegal holds, malicious intent, or if someone is trying to injure another player. The person that gets the points also gets to choose what hold they will start off in when wrestling is continued.
-
1 point is also awarded when someone steps on the protection line. Once that happens the match is stopped and wrestlers are reset.
